100 characters can be fitted front and inside,
max 30 characters for back engraving. (Please double-check your text or handwriting )
The name, date, or short message, In the personalization box, enter the text you would like us to engrave on each side of the compass. After you placed your order please just attach the image via convo.
We can also engrave a logo, symbol, or image of your own Handwriting. For your handwriting engraving, please use white unlined paper with a black pen and take a quality picture.
Please be aware personalized items are not refundable - in the unlikely event, your personalization is not suitable a replacement order will be offered only.

Turnaround time for all of our products is just 1 business day. This means we ship your order in 1 business day after you placed the order. Delivery time is around 1-4 days for all countries.

Where do I leave engraving instructions for my personalized item?
You can leave your engraving instructions in the notes to seller section on the last page of checkout. If you item includes a photo, it can be sent to the seller via Etsy message.
Which metals are the compasses made of and will they working?
The compasses are made of brass, an alloy of copper and zinc. These are wonderful and special gifts for yourself, or a loved one. They are one of a kind keepsakes and functioning compasses too. Our items may appear lighter or darker on the photos due to light beam angles
How does the compass work?
You may need to use a bit of force to open the lid the first few times.
For basic instructions on using a compass, we recommend searching online.
Use a compass or look for the North Star at night to find true north. Then, rotate the face of your sundial until the gnomon, or the pin of the sundial, is pointing straight north. The 12:00 noon notation is aligned with the gnomon, so it will be pointing north as well.

We can modify the sample images per your request. You can add something to it including initials, name, date, words, phrases, proverbs, messages, images, logos, pictures, photos, symbols, emojis, etc. or remove or reshape the existing parts. You let us know what you want and we will let you know if it is possible or not.
