The compass can hold around 200 characters on the top side, 200 characters on the inside, and 150 characters on the bottom side.
Here’s what you need to do to order:
1. Select the number of sides you want us to engrave.
2. Choose a font and style for your engraving.
3. Upload a high-quality image of your design.
Your engraved brass compass will be ready for pickup or shipping within a few days.

Take a look at your personalization request to make sure it’s all accurate and free of any spelling mistakes. Unfortunately, we can’t change the personalization text after the order is placed.

Turnaround time for all of our products is just 1 business day. This means we ship your order in 1 business day after you placed the order. Delivery time is around 1-4 days for all countries.
What would customs costs? Did i need to pay customs?
Buyers are responsible for the payment of customs fees. Import charges can vary widely, but are most commonly based on the price and type of item, packaging weight and dimensions, origin country, and the taxes, duties, and fees of the destination country. Where do I leave engraving instructions for my personalized item?
You can leave your engraving instructions in the notes to seller section on the last page of checkout. If you item includes a photo, it can be sent to the seller via Etsy message.
Which metals are the compasses made of and will they working?
The compasses are made of brass, an alloy of copper and zinc. These are wonderful and special gifts for yourself, or a loved one. They are one of a kind keepsakes and functioning compasses too. Our items may appear lighter or darker on the photos due to light beam angles
How does the compass work?
You may need to use a bit of force to open the lid the first few times.
For basic instructions on using a compass, we recommend searching online.
Use a compass or look for the North Star at night to find true north. Then, rotate the face of your sundial until the gnomon, or the pin of the sundial, is pointing straight north. The 12:00 noon notation is aligned with the gnomon, so it will be pointing north as well.
For best results, you should keep it away from any disruptive magnetic fields.Can I make modifications on the sample images?
We can modify the sample images per your request. You can add something to it including initials, name, date, words, phrases, proverbs, messages, images, logos, pictures, photos, symbols, emojis, etc. or remove or reshape the existing parts. You let us know what you want and we will let you know if it is possible or not.
